  15. experience and Internet savvy a plus but not required)

  17. Our company is a 200+ employee, 25 million dollar/year process control
  18. instrumentation manufacturer in the San Fernando Valley area of Los
  19. Angeles. We've got all the standard benefits (medical, dental, 401K,
  20. etc.), and are looking for permanent full time help (I'm leaving and
  21. trying to help find a replacement - this is a great place to work--I
  22. actually hate to leave, and was looking forward to the challenges
  23. ahead as we expand our automated testing capabilities in the future),
  24. and I want to help them find someone to carry on when I leave.

  26. You will be writing and maintaining automated test programs for PC
  27. under Windows (3.11 now, eventually 95 or NT). These programs entail
  28. controlling test instruments like DVM's and power supplies via
  29. IEEE-488 bus, talking to the device under test via RS232 serial
  30. interface, configuring, calibrating, and testing the performance of
  31. PC-boards and assembled units. It is really a FUN job for the person
  32. interested in expanding their Windows programming experience, and is
  33. especially cool because you are controlling external devices, and can
  34. actually "SEE" the results of your work!
  35. A degree is not required, but you must be a self-motivated team
  36. player, willing to take direction and DOCUMENT YOUR WORK!  No hackers
  37. please!  An openness to new ideas and technologies and a willingness
  38. to learn and keep up to date is essential.  Please, no 'clever'
  39. coding... we want good, solid readable code here <g>.
